A – STICK CURTAIN WALL

A stick curtain wall is an aluminum–glass façade system installed with the aluminum frame erected first and glazing installed afterward. With the stick system, framing assembly and final glazing are both completed largely on site.
– Stick curtain walls are widely used on low- to mid-rise buildings such as shopping centers, offices, schools, hospitals, and other public facilities.
– Stick aluminum–glass façades can be applied to virtually any exterior surface and are especially suitable for complex elevations or façades with many junctions.

Advantages:

B – SEMI-UNITIZED CURTAIN WALL

– A façade type that combines advantages of both stick and unitized systems.
– With semi-unitized systems, fabrication and structural glazing are completed in the factory, while structural aluminum framing and final assembly are completed on site.

Advantages:
Factory structural glazing supports better quality control.
– Fast installation, short construction schedules, and high site efficiency.
– Weather sealing between unitized panels relies on gasket systems rather than traditional sealants alone—improving performance while reducing surface contamination and elevating façade aesthetics.
– Smaller, more flexible panels ease installation, maintenance, and replacement.
– Multiple jointing options: capped, structurally glazed (hidden mullion), or hybrid.
– Strong safety and structural reliability, especially for high-rise buildings.

C – UNITIZED CURTAIN WALL

– Among the most advanced façade technologies, addressing demanding architectural and structural requirements for building envelopes.
– A unitized aluminum–glass curtain wall is factory-produced as complete modular panels, then delivered to site for erection and overall finishing. Unitized systems perform best on buildings with a uniform external grid and consistent floor-to-floor heights.
